Mom in Balance Kickstart Challenge!


Are you ready to kickstart? For moms (to be), finding balance can be a real challenge: work, family, social life and time for yourself. With this Mom in Balance kickstart challenge you build a routine in 10 days that gives you energy and strength. Together we will work step by step towards a stronger, more confident you. Easy does it! And really, we promise you that this will give you a wonderful first step toward a routine that's right for you! 💪

Day 1 - Kickstart: be the best you


Today you make a plan that motivates, inspires and gives you focus. Together we'll build a strong foundation for your goals and routines. Ready? Let's go!🚀

Tip: Do you use a planner, or calendar? Color your week! Assign different themes such as sports, family and work a color to create overview. This way you can quickly see if you spend too much or too little time on something, and you can easily adjust your week for more balance and peace.

Day 2 - Workout: Let’s get stronger together


The first workout is ready for you!

Want to really boost your workout? Then use our Pink Power Loop! This easy to use resistance band gives another dimension to your workout and strengthens your legs, core and arms. Day 3 - Walking


Time for a walk! Walking isn’t just relaxing; it also comes with amazing benefits: it improves your digestion and helps keep your blood sugar levels balanced. Plus, after just 20 minutes, your brain starts producing the happiness hormone dopamine, and after about an hour, the feel-good hormones endorphins and serotonin are released. Walking is the perfect way to clear your mind!

Pop on some music or the Mom in Balance podcast, and soak up the energy of the outdoors while staying active. Whether you go for a morning walk to boost your energy or an evening stroll to unwind, both will directly contribute to your physical and mental well-being!

Tip: Walk together! Bring a friend along for extra motivation and fun. Let’s move! 🚶‍♀️

Day 4 - Working out in the outdoors


Being outdoors in nature helps you relax and reduces stress. It boosts your creativity and improves your focus. Mom in Balance challenges you to take on this challenge outside, whether it's in your own garden or at a favorite outdoor spot in a park or the countryside. Fresh air and movement are guaranteed to give your body and mind a healthy boost.

Day 5 - Breath & Relax


Gentle abdominal breathing provides deep relaxation and more energy. Often we breathe too fast; Mom in Balance has a very nice breathing exercise for this.



Step 1: breathe in through your nose for 4 counts, with your mouth closed.

Step 2: hold your breath for 7 counts.

Step 3: Breathe out powerfully and evenly for 8 counts with a pursed mouth.


You will soon notice the result: you feel fitter and more energetic! Today, consciously take a moment to breathe. During your walk, at your desk or in the car. Use the breathing exercises below to use your breathing more consciously and powerfully. Let's recharge! 🌟

Day 6 - Buddy Workout


Day 6 of the challenge is here and today is all about working out together! Find someone you also wish to “kickstart”; your friend, mother or partner and do the workout together today! It's much more motivating and of course cozier. Getting stronger and fitter together makes everything more fun, feel the energy of each other and go for it! Let's do this! ✨

Day 7 - Family Time


This is your chance to discuss with your family your desires and goals for 2025. Plan an evening with the family where you will cook together and then discuss your goals for 2025. Involve them in your goals and show interest in theirs. This evening not only strengthens the bond with your children, but also helps them understand each other better.

Dag 8 - Me time


You are good on track and should be really proud of yourself! 💥

Today is the time to take a moment for yourself! Take a nice bath, go shopping or take an energizing walk. It is important to reward yourself from time to time as this evokes positive emotions, increases your motivation, improves your performance and contributes to your happiness.

Hopefully you feel inspired to take time for yourself more often and realize how important this is. It provides relaxation, gives you an energy boost and helps you make better choices.

Dag 9 - Reflecting


We are approaching the last day of the challenge, a perfect time to look back on your progress! What is already going well and where can you challenge yourself further in the time ahead?

Take a moment to evaluate your motivation plan and be proud of what you've already accomplished. Then schedule a moment to fill out your calendar for the week ahead and don't forget to add some extra color, both literally and figuratively! Make it an energetic week! 🚀

Day 10 - Yes, you did it!
